Our History

Kevin O'Dell, N0IRW
ARRL Oklahoma Section Manager

Central Oklahoma Radio Amateurs Inc. (CORA) was formed in 1973 to host the Oklahoma City hamfest which is called Ham Holiday.

CORA became an ARRL affilitated in June 2004.  We hold the distinction of being a Club Council.  Each member club may appoint up to three of their members as a director of CORA.  Our main purpose is to host Ham Holiday each year in July.

Our Charter

CORA conducts business from January through August.  We elect our council officers from our current directors.  We usually have one meeting a month on the first Saturday at 1:00 PM but may be re-scheduled by the current CORA president.  The usual meeting place is the Salvation Army building located at 2808 SE 44th Street in Oklahoma City.
